WH (Heer/Luftwaffe) LP34 and LP42 Flare Pistol Holster (Leuchtpistolentaschen). When issued the flare pistols came accompanied with a holster. The black coloured holster is made of simulated leather (Presstoff) with blackened leather and steel fittings. The holster has two belt-loops and two D-rings on the back and could be worn on the load carrying waist belt or with a special carrying strap. one of the belt loops is showing some loose stitching, see photos. The holster is nicely maker marked and dated with 'fuq 1941' and showing a 'WaA' acceptance marking. The holster comes together with an original 1942 dated cleaning rod. Nice original set in good used condition!
