Description

This is a nice original 'Luftschutz Gastasche' complete with its original contents as found. Nice light tan leather construction pouch with aluminum inner frame. The pouch contains various medical items for first aid after an possible gas attack. The aluminum medical tubes are mostly complete with their original contents (tablets), a few tubes are missing. The pouch could be worn on the load carrying waist belt. The interior of the pouch also contains the original contents label. The pouch is nicely maker marked by the company of 'W.Söhngen & Co' in Wiesbaden and dated 1937. The pouch comes together with an original medical armband and medical ID documents of a Wehrmacht 'Krankenträger' named 'Günther Heide', see photos for more details. Decorative and hard to find set in good condition!
