Luftwaffe M35 Map/Dispatch Case (Meldekartentasche M35). Map/dispatch cases were issued on a limited basis to specifically designated personnel such as unit commanders, messengers, and observers. The M35 map/dispatch case was based on the Weimar era Reichsheer pattern map/dispatch case with minor variations. The M35 map/dispatch cases were issued with assorted map reading tools, instruments and accessories. The natural tan leather interior of the case has two compartments with a central leather separating panel. The chocolate brown leather map case is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Franz Brehme' from Walsrode and dated 1935. It is nicely unit marked with 'IV./K.G.152' (IV. Gruppe Kampfgeschwader 152). The map case is marked 'L.B.A.B.36' (Luftwaffe Bekleidungs Amt) as well. Nice original map case in very good condition!
