Matching K98 Combat Bayonet '44 cqh'
Description
Matching K98 Combat Bayonet (Seitengewehr 98K). The K98 bayonet was a standard issue item and was accompanied by a bayonet frog to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The K98 bayonet remained the standard issue bayonet through-out the war with minor manufacturing variations. The bayonet and scabberd are both marked with serial-number '6147'. The bayonet and scabberd are matching maker marked and dated '44 cqh' indicating production by the company of 'Clemen und Jung' from Solingen in 1944, this is a very rare and hard to find manufacturer who only made a small batch of bayonets in 1944. The blade is in good condition, the bayonet is having red-brown bakelite grips. Rare original late war matching bayonet in good condition!
