This is a nice original Wehrmacht MP38/40 Magazine Pouch (MP38 u. MP40 Magazintasche). Soldiers equipped with the MP38/40 were issued a pair of magazine pouches which each held three thirty-two round magazines. This is a right side pouch. This pouch is made of grey/green coloured webbing with blackened leather straps, the leather straps are in good and still supple condition. The stitching of one belt-loop came slightly loose. The pouch is having a blue guide-line visible in the material on the back, see photos. The pouch is not visible maker marked or dated, the pouch is most likely made by the manufacturer 'evg'. This is a rare early pouch made before 1941. Hard to find original early MP38/40 magazine pouch in good used condition!
