Municipal Police Bayonet (Schutzpolizei Seitengewehr). The antler grip plates are mounted with aluminum rivets. The obverse grip plate is having an aluminum Police eagle attached. The grips are in very good condition. The crossguards have the usual oak leaves on the obverse. The reverse has this treatment on the quillons, the quillon block is not marked. The blade is maker marked with 'ACS' indicating production by the company of 'Alexander Coppel' from Solingen. The blade is in good condition. The blackened leather scabberd is in good condition, the blackened colour normally indicates usage within the municipal police (Schutzpolizei). Nice original Police bayonet in good condition!
