 Set of 2 Wehrmacht Dust Protection Goggles in Pouch (Augenschützer 42 mit Trageumschlag). The German army issued a wide variety of protective, special duty and general purpose glasses and goggles for assorted personnel including sun glasses for use in the desert or snowy climates. One example of the goggles utilized were the 'Augenschützer 42', which were developed in 1942 as inexpensive, easily manufactured, eye protectors. The Augenschützer 42 were produced in two models with colored lenses for sun protection and clear lenses for dust protection. These disposable goggles proved quite popular and saw wide spread use in all theaters of action. This are 2 dust protection goggles, one set of goggles is missing the headband straps, see photos. The goggles are stored in their original cloth pouch as found, the pouch is nicely 'WaA' marked and maker marked with 'gng' indicating production by the company 'Auer-Gesellschaft AG' from Guben. Nice set in good used condition!

 Set van 2 Wehrmacht Stofbrillen in Hoesje (Augenschützer 42 mit Trageumschlag). Het Duitse leger gebruikte een grote variëteit aan beschermende, speciale en normale brillen voor divers personeel, waaronder ook zonnebrillen voor de woestijn of sneeuwgebieden. Een voorbeeld van deze brillen is de 'Augenschützer 42', welke werd ontwikkeld in 1942 als een goedkoop en makkelijk te produceren stofbril. Deze Augenschützer 42 werd geproduceerd in twee modellen met gekleurde lenzen voor gebruik tegen de zon en normale doorzichtige lenzen tegen stof. Deze brillen bleken populair en werden gebruikt aan alle fronten. Dit zijn twee stofbrillen, één stofbril mist helaas zijn hoofdband/riempjes, zie foto's. De brilletjes zitten in een stoffen beschermhoesje zoals gevonden, het hoesje is mooi 'WaA' gemarkeerd en maker gemarkeerd met 'gng' wat duidt op productie door het 'Auer-Gesellschaft AG' uit Guben. Mooie set in goede gebruikte staat!
