Rare original SS RZM Pattern Boots with Hobnails (Stiefel). Besides the helmet, the blackened leather boot is probably one of the most instantly recognizable items of the German military. Officers and certain senior NCO ranks were responsible for purchasing their own uniforms including footwear. The Officers and certain senior NCO’s could choose to purchase their footwear from the armed forces clothing depots or to privately purchase footwear of higher quality. This is a nice RZM issue pair of, tall, black leather boots (Hohe Stiefel). The boots are nicely 'RZM L7/25/44 SS' marked indicating production in 1944. The boots are showing normal traces of usage and are in overall very good condition, see photos. Rare original pair of SS tall black leather boots in very good condition!
