Waffen-SS BeVo-woven 'Reichsführer-SS' cufftitle (Ärmelband). Intended for members within the '16. SS Panzer-Grenadier-Division Reichsführer SS'. The division was formed in November 1943 and surrendered to the British near Klagenfurt in May 1945. The division served on various fronts during the war, notably in Yugoslavia, Hungary, Italy and Austria. Woven in grey/white thread on black in the so-called 'BeVo' weave, the back of the cufftitle shows the salt-and-pepper design. The cufftitle shows the woven script 'Reichsführer-ᛋᛋ'. The cufftitle is in full length condition with typical unfinished ends and measures approximately 44cms in length. The cufftitle is in good unissued condition showing some staining and traces of years of storage. Nice original cufftitle!
