Wehrmacht Felt & Leather Winter Boots
Description
Product Images
German Felt & Leather Winter Boots (Winterstiefel). The felt and leather boots were originally introduced after the first devastating winter in Russian as the standard leather marching boots didn’t provide the warmth required in the extreme cold. The boots are in overall good used condition with light age and usage toning and some small moth damages, see photos. The boots are not visible maker marked or dated but are size '28½' marked. There is one small triangular stamp which might indicate early post-war East German issue, take a look at the photos, priced accordingly!
These shoes originate from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and were in display in the diorama in the last picture!
