Wehrmacht Helmet Chinstrap (Stahlhelm Sturmriemen). This is a two piece, blackened brown leather construction helmet chinstrap. Complete with aluminum buckle and both aluminum studs. The early chinstrap is nicely maker marked and looks to be dated 1938. The strap is in clearly used condition, the leather however is still supple, the strap can easily be placed on a helmet. Perfect for completing an M35 helmet. The strap has been reissued in the post-war Norwegian Army. Still a rare and hard to find original early chinstrap, priced accordingly!
