Wehrmacht issue Medic chest apron (Medic-ID vest). The multi-piece construction 'Sanitäter' red cross recognition vest is nicely marked 'W.K. V. Ulm' (Wehrkreis V Ulm). These vest where issued and worn by 'Sanitäter' and 'Krankenträger' to be easily recognized on the frontline. The vest is in clearly used and worn condition, one panel is damaged, see photos. Decorative and hard to find original example!
This Sanitäter ID-Vest originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!
