Wehrmacht (Heer) Bread Bag M1931 (Brotbeutel 31). Bread bags were widely utilized by all German military and non-military organizations, so various models and colors were produced. The bread bag was worn attached to the belt on the right side of the back. This is a mid war produced example made of green coloured canvas with blackened leather parts. The belt support hook in the middle is not textbook and most likely from reissued captured material, nice variation for the equipment collector. The breadbag is not visible maker marked and dated. Nice original breadbag in very good condition!
