Wehrmacht (Heer) M35 Reissued Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains most of its rough textured, field-grey reissue overpaint. The original early apple green colour is clearly visible beneath the fieldgrey overpaint. The paint shows normal wear and scratches caused by usage and some damages and surface rust, see photos. A standard Heeres decal is applied to the left side of the helmet, the decal is retained for about 95%. Remains of a national shield decal can be seen under the overpaint on the other side. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 leather liner with early single aluminum liner-ring, the liner is maker marked by the 'Schubert Werke' from Braunschweig. The liner is complete with its original drawstring. The maker and serial number can't be read due to the thick reissued overpaint, see photos. The helmet is named to a soldier called 'Farkasch'. The helmet is complete with its original early chinstrap with aluminum roller-buckle. The helmet is in untouched and uncleaned condition as recently found in Germany. Nice original untouched Wehrmacht reissue M35 combat helmet in good used condition!
