Description
Wehrmacht (Heer) Tropical Gascape in Pouch (Gasplane in Tasche). The shoulder sling of the gas mask was put through two loops at the rear of the pouch, and the pouch was worn on the chest. This method proved not to be very practical. During the war a frequent way of wear was to fasten the pouch around the gas mask canister. The gascape is made of rubberized material and nicely maker marked 'pcd'. The tropical coloured pouch is maker marked 'gdp' and marked 'Tp' for Tropen. Nice original set in very good condition!
