Militaria Plaza

This is a nice original Wehrmacht MP44 / STG44 Magazine Pouch (Magazintasche). Soldiers equipped with the MP44 (Sturmgewehr 44) were issued a pair of magazine pouches which each held three thirty round magazines. This is a left side pouch. This pouch is made of all recycled material, green coloured webbing with brown leather straps, the leather straps are in functional condition. The sides of the flaps are made of 'Ersatz' material, at one of the flaps one side is regrettably missing, see photos. The connecting strap is still present. The pouch is nicely maker marked and dated with 'fuq 44', it is WaA marked as well. Hard to find original MP38/40 magazine pouch in used condition!
