German Felt & Leather Sentry Winter Boots (Winterstiefel). The felt and leather boots were originally introduced after the first devastating winter in Russian as the standard leather marching boots didn’t provide the warmth required in the extreme cold. The boots are in overall good most likely mint and unissued condition, the boots are having wooden soles. The boots are nicely maker marked by the company of 'Herm. Müller' from Hartha im Sachsen and dated 1942, the boots are size '32' marked. Nice original pair of winter sentry boots in very good condition!
