Wehrmacht (Heer) EM's M44 Field Blouse (Feldbluse M44). This is a nice original late war Italian gabardine construction M44 field blouse, it has 6 front closure buttons and two, non-pleated, front pockets. There is a lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The field blouse is having a nicely original period applied factory machine-sewn late-war type BeVo woven M44 pattern breast-eagle and a pair of original machine-sewn BeVo type collar-tabs. The collar-tabs are having the basic generic grey branch colour, the different branches of service within the German army were allocated a particular identifying 'Waffenfarbe' (branch of service) color which was generally displayed on the collar tabs. An exception to this rule were the general service collar tabs (Einheitskragenspiegel) for EM/NCO personnel that did not utilize the branch of service color enabling them to be worn by personnel serving in all branches of service. Shoulder-board loops and buttons are present. The tunic comes with a pair of shoulder-straps as intended for a 'Feldwebel' within a 'Pionier' unit. The field bouse is showing loops for various medals/awards including a German Cross in Gold and Close Combat Clasp. A nice Demjansk Shield is sewn to the wearer's left sleeve. The right, front-closure panel lining is marked with black ink size markings (chest-size 96cms) and the tunic is nicely 'RBNr.0/0250/0274' marked. The field blouse is in used and worn condition showing some small damages and/or repairs, see photos.
