World War 1 German K98 Dress Bayonet with Frog (Extraseitengewehr mit Seitengewehrtasche), being a rarely seen sawback variant. This is a private purchase version of the S84/98 bayonet for dress wear. The bayonet was, accompanied by a bayonet frog, to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The blade is in good used condition, the blade is maker marked with the early imperial 'C.E.' logo of the company of 'Eichorn' from Solingen. The blade is in overall condition with nice sawback. The scabberd is showing some normal traces of usage, the paint probably has been touched up at some rustspots. The parade style frog is in good used condition. Rare original sawback dress bayonet in good used condition!
