This is a RAD ('Reichsarbeitsdienst') Officer's Cap Badge (Mützenabzeichen für Führer). These badges were used on the specific RAD headgear, also known as 'Kaffeebohne'. Tombak construction cap badge, complete with all prongs. The cap badge is nicely maker marked with the logo from the company of 'F.W. Assmann & Söhne' from Lüdenscheid and dated 1939. Nice example in very good condition!
