Waffen-SS 'tropical' golden-yellow coloured cap skull, executed in the so-called BeVo-weave pattern. The first official SS tropical headgear was introduced in February 1943 for wear in southern continental Europe and appropriate tropical insignia were also introduced. This machine woven version of the skull was to be worn by EM/NCO’s. The skull is executed in golden-yellow linnen on a black linnen background. Nice original example in good unissued condition. These tropical skulls are getting harder to find!
