Waffen-SS Visor Cap Eagle & Skull (Mützen Adler und Totenkopf). The SS visor cap skull was first introduced for wear on 6 October 1934 and replaced the earlier 'Danziger' style skulls. The late-war type skull is made of zinc, it is missing one prong, the skull is 'Ges.Gesch' marked. The zinc-type cap eagle is complete with all three prongs and nicely 'RZM 155/42' marked. Both can be attributed to production by the company of 'F.W. Assmann' from Lüdenscheid. Nice and hard to find original late war SS cap insignia set in good used condition!
