Combat worn WH (Heer) M43 Cap

Description

Combat worn WH (Heer) M43 Cap (Einheitsfeldmütze M43). The M43 field cap was introduced for wear by all ranks on 11 June 1943 as a replacement cap for all other field caps then in use. The design of the M43 field cap was based on the earlier M42 overseas cap (Feldmütze) and the Mountain Trooper’s Mountain Cap (Bergmütze) with minor variations. The standard issue M43 field caps were constructed of field-grey wool. The cap is having a tan coloured rayon lining material, the cap is not visible maker marked, a fainted name can be seen inside on the lining material. The cap is complete with an original factory machine-sewn BeVo-woven M43-model cap-eagle/cocarde (trapezoid). The cap is in clearly used and combat worn condition with heavy traces of usage, see photos. The cap is having a fantastic combat worn look and will look great in any headgear collection or front display. Stunning untouched original M43 cap!
