Early SA Service Kepi (SA-Dienstmütze).The SA (Sturmabteilung) was originally formed in August 1921 as a protective guard unit for the political leaders of the NSDAP. Early kepis originally didn't have a coloured panel, after 1933 the colour bands were introduced for all ranks. This is an early pre-1933 brown lightweight ribbed canvas example without coloured sides. The kepi is complete with early type cap-eagle and original brown leather chinstrap. The kepi is maker marked by a furniture factory 'Möbelfabrik Karl Rohne' from Northeim i. Han. This factory probably joined the effort to produce material for the growing nazi party before they came to power. The Kepi is in good used condition. Rare original early 'Kampfzeit' Kepi!
