Etched WH (Heer) K98 Dress Bayonet with Frog (Extraseitengewehr mit Seitengewehrtasche). This is a private purchase version of the S84/98 bayonet for dress wear. The bayonet was, accompanied by a bayonet frog, to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The bayonet is nicely maker marked by the company 'Puma' from Solingen. The bayonet is nicely etched with "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit", the etch is showing an army (Heer) style eagle and helmet. The blade is in good condition. The bayonet and scabberd are in good condition. The bayonet comes together with its original leather frog and portepee. Rare original etched bayonet in good condition!
