German Helmet Liner (Stahlhelm Innenfutter) with reinforced aluminum ring. This is a leather liner in size 57 which will fit a size 64 helmet. The liner is maker marked by the company 'Schuberth Werk K.G.' from Braunschweig and dated 1939. Perfect for restauration of an M35 helmet!

German Helmet Liner (Stahlhelm Innenfutter). Leather construction helmet liner, all eight extended fingers are intact. Each finger has five, punched, ventilation holes with an additional punched hole at the tip of each to insert the fit adjustment drawstring, the liner is complete with a thick probably replacement drawstring. This is a size '57' liner, this liner would fit in a size 64 helmet. The reinforced aluminum liner ring is nicely maker marked by the company 'Schuberth Werk K.G.' from Braunschweig and dated 1939. Early reinforced aluminum ring type spare liners are almost impossible to find nowadays. The liner is in good used condition, perfect for restauration of an M35 helmet!
