Luftwaffe Flak EM/NCO's Visor Cap
This is a nice original Luftwaffe 'Flakartillerie' (Anti-Aircraft Artillery) EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased visor cap, the sweatdiamond is present and nicely maker marked by the company of 'Gustav Binner' from Breslau and dated 1936, the cap is size 54 marked. The cap is having the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for personnel serving within the Flakartillerie. The leather sweatband is in heavily used and damaged condition, see photos. The simulated leather chinstrap is in good condition. The cap is complete with its original aluminum cocarde and unusual machine-embroiderd cap-eagle which looks to be period sewn to this cap giving it a great look. The cap is out of shape giving it a great crusher like look, see photos. Nice original Luftwaffe Flak visor cap in good used condition!
Dit is een mooie originele Luftwaffe 'Flakartillerie' manschappen/onderofficiers 'Schirmmütze'. Schirmmütze's waren een standaard hoofddeksel voor al het gewapende personeel tijdens het Derde Rijk. Manschappen kregen de Schirmmütze's uitgereikt via de militarie leveranciers, maar het was ook toegestaan om privé een Schirmmütze aan te schaffen. Dit is een Schirmmütze welke privé aangeschaft is, de celluloid diamant is aanwezig en maker gemarkeerd door de firma 'Gustav Binner' uit Breslau, de pet is 1936 gedateerd. De pet is maat '54' gemarkeerd. De pet heeft biezen in de rode 'Truppenfarbe' voor personeel bij de 'Flakartillerie'. De leren zweetband is in zwaar gebruikte en beschadigde staat, zie foto's. Het kunst-lederen kinriempje is in goede staat. De pet is compleet met zijn originele aluminium kokarde en ongebruikelijke machinaal-geborduurde pet-adelaar, deze lijkt periodiek bevestigd en geeft de pet een mooie uitstraling. De pet is uit model en heeft een uitstraling zoals een crusher. Mooie originele Luftwaffe Flak Schirmmüze in goede gebruikte staat!
