Luftwaffe 'LKp.W.101' Winter Flight Helmet (Fliegerkopfhaube für Winter mit FT-Gerät). The LKp.W.101 model helmet was designed for winter wear and was outfitted with radio equipment as used by fighter pilots and bomber commanders. Chocolate brown leather construction flight helmet with steel fittings. The interior of the helmet is fully lined in white sheepwool, the cap is size '55' marked. The cap shows only slightly period wear and use. Complete with integral communications equipment and original long type wire and plug. Everything is nicely marked and the cap is made by 'Siemens - Apparate u. Maschinen G.m.b.H.'. Nice original example in very good condition!
