Luftwaffe M35 Double Decal Camouflaged Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The steel construction M35 helmet retains most (approximately 80%) of its rough textured, two-tone green/brown coloured camouflage (field-applied) early style camouflage overpaint, an early Luftwaffe drooptail eagle decal and national flag shield are clearly visible. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is an early M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact and the original liner cord is present as well, the liner is a size '55'. The liner is nicely maker marked on both the leather and aluminium liner-ring, the liner is dated 1936 The shell is maker marked, the marking however is hard to read and might be an ET or EF. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number. The helmet is complete with it's original early slightly shortened chinstrap as found together. There are normal traces of wear and usage, the helmet is in overall good used condition. Hard to find original Luftwaffe Camouflage Helmet, this one would be great for a Luftwaffe Field Division display. Scarce original Luftwaffe Camo helmet in good used condition!
