Description
Luftwaffe Officer's Overseas Cap (Schiffchen für Offiziere). Luftwaffe blue/grey woolen construction Enlisted Men's type overseas cap which has been upgraded for officer's usage, having silver piping for officers ranks along the top edge of the fold down panels. The cap is having an original applied cap-eagle and black/white/red national tri-color cockade. The insignia are neatly period hand applied, see photos. The cap has a light-grey coloured rayon lining, the cap is nicely RB.Nr. marked and dated 1943, it is size '58' marked. The cap is in very good condition with only minimal traces of usage and storage. Hard to find original officer's overseas cap in very good condition!
