Luftwaffe Summer Flak EM's Visor Cap (Sommerschirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a privately purchased white-topped summer visor cap, complete with its removable white top having its origina aluminum cap eagle and cocarde attached. The cap is complete with the often missing/removed original interiour having a celluloid sweatdiamond which is marked with a to me unknown company's logo and 'Deutsche Wertarbeit'. The cap is size '55' marked on the leather sweatband. The cap is having the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for personnel serving within the Flakartillerie. The cap is complete with its origianl blackened leather chinstrap as found. The cap is in very good only slighlty used condition showing some normal traces of usage. Stunning and hard to find original Luftwaffe white-topped summer visor cap in very good condition!
