NSDAP Ortsgruppe Level Political Leader's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze für Politische Leiter der Ortsgruppenleitung). In January 1934 the NSDAP introduced a visor cap, based on the army style visor cap. The NSDAP was structured in four ascending levels of government, consisting of the "Ortsgruppenleitung," the "Kreisleitung," the "Gauleitung," and the "Reichsleitung," with each group being distinguished by a specific colour of piping. This is a nice quality issue brown coloured Political Leader's Visor Cap, the cap is piped in the blue 'Waffenfarbe' indicating a political leader in the Ortsgruppe Level. The interior of the cap is lined in orange-brown oilcloth. The brown simulated leather sweatband is in very good condition, there is a nice RZM tag beneath the sweatband and the cap is size '55' marked. The cap is complete with its original gold finished political cap-eagle and cocarde. The pet is having a gold coloured chinstrap.
