One-Piece Luftschutz Gladiator Helmet
Luftschutz M38 Gladiator Helmet (Stahlhelm M38). The RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) was an official national organization tasked with all aspects of civil air raid defence. On 26 September 1938 a specific helmet for RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) personnel was introduced that incorporated a raised horizontal bead between the visors and crown. These helmets were commonly called the "Gladiator" style helmet. This is a rarely seen one-piece construction M38 type Luftschutz helmet, the helmet is complete with its original liner and rare original late war plastic type chinstrap. Nice original late war variant helmet in very good condition!
Luftschutz M38 Gladiator Helm (Stahlhelm M38). De RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) was een officiële nationale organisatie welke zich bezig hield met alle aspecten van de Luchtbescherming. Op 26 september 1938 werd er een specifieke helm voor de RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) ingesteld, deze helm had een horizontale rand rond de helm lopen. Deze helmen werden het "Gladiator" model genoemd. Dit is een zeldzame eendelige constructie M38 type Luftschutz helm, de helm is compleet met zijn originele binnenwerk en zeldzame originele laat-oorlogs plastic type kinband. Mooie originele laatoorlogse variant helm in erg goede staat!
