Partisan Reissued Wehrmacht (Heer) M42 Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M42). The stamped sheet steel construction M42 helmet retains all of its typical late war rough textured matte field-grey paint. The paint shows normal traces of usage. A red five pointed star has been period painted on front indicating that this helmet has been reissued by Partisans. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 leather liner, the liner is in very good condition. The liner-ring is nicely dated 1943. The liner is size '56' marked. The liner is complete with original drawstring. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ckl64' which indicates production by the company 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' in Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '4332'. The helmet is complete with its original leather chinstrap, the chinstrap is nicely 'RB.Nr.0/0355/0012' marked. Rare original late war partisan reissued M42 helmet!
