'Deutsche Reichsbahn' Visor Cap (DRB Schirmmütze). 'Deutsche Reichsbahn' was the name of the German national railway, from 1937 it was organized as the DRB. This is an early 1st model visor cap as worn from 1935 to 1941. This is a nice privately purchased visor cap, complete with celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute'), maker marked by the famous 'Erel' company. The cap has no visible size markings, the cap is approximately a size 55. The cap is complete with it's original zinc-type cap-eagle and cocarde and original chinstrap. The cap is named to Reserve-Lokführer 'Erich Gohsler'. The sweatband is in good used condition and nicely marked with 'Erel Patent'. Nice original cap in good used condition!
