'Ukw.E.h.' Radio Receiver Metal Outer Box (Kasten zum Ultrakurzwellen Empfänger h) The Ukw. E. e is a radio receiver used almost exclusively in the Sturmgeschütz self-propelled howitzers. It operates in the frequency range of 23.1-24.95 MHz, or roughly the 12 meter band. Mounting hardware is built into tanks. The brass stripes for grounding purposes have been removed from the case. The outer case still retains approximately 95% of its original fieldgrey paint and stenciled on marking 'Ukw.E.h'. The case is approximately sized 31 x 19,5 x 16,5 cms. Great replacement item if you own a rusted or repainted box. Hard to find!
