Waffen-SS maroon coloured felt dress 'Fez' as intended for members within the '13.Waffen-Gebirgs-Division der SS "Handschar" (kroatische Nr.1)'. All ranks wore the fez cap, in grey for field use, and burgundy for dress and ceremonial occasions. The fez is complete with its original black tassel. The fez is having a nice BeVo-woven cap-eagle and skull attached, both are original period machine-sewn. The fez is complete with its leather sweatband in good condition. The fez is in good condition showing minor moth damage, see photos. Nice original Fez!
