Wehrmacht M31 Canteen and Cup (Feldflasche 31 und Trinkbecher). The standard issue M31 canteen was introduced on 23 March 1931. The aluminum canteen and black leather straps are all in overall good used condition with normal age and usage toning. The canteen is complete with its original felt cover which is showing some period repairs and staining. The aluminum canteen and screw-cap are nicely maker marked and dated 'FWMG39' indicating production in 1939. The black painted aluminum cup is maker marked and dated 'KCL 38' indicating production in 1938. Overall a nice original combat worn canteen for a fair price!
