WH (Heer) Artillery EM/NCO Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased visor cap, complete with celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute'), maker marked by 'Ferdinand Klan' from Hof. The leather sweatband is in good condition. The Visor cap is piped in the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Artillery personnel. The cap is complete with its original zinc type cap eagle and aluminum cap cocarde. The simulated leather chinstrap is in good condition. The cap shows normal traces of usage and storage and is in overall good used condition with some minor (moth)damages, see photos. The cap is having a great 'crusher' look shape. This cap would look great in an Artillery or Sturmgeschütz display. Stunning original visor cap in good used condition!
