WH (Heer) Reversible 'Fluffy' Camouflage Winter Hood (Winterkopfhaube). The winter hoods were a standard issue item and were distributed to all EM/NCO’s for the winter season, (15 September to 15 April), with other winter garments and were to be returned to the units clothing depot in April for storage, repair and cleaning to be re-issued the following September. This is an example in the so called 'Fluffy' pattern which is a tan&water design in 'Splittertarn' camouflage colours, this is one of the rarest and last developed patterns, the hood is reversible to white. The hood is nicely RB.Nr. marked and size '57' marked. The hood is complete with its original tie string. The hood is showing minimal traces of years of storage. Nice example in very good, near mint, condition!
