Wehrmacht (Heer) Single Decal M35 'Afrika' Camouflage Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet shows a nice Afrika tan coloured camouflage paint, applied by brush, the original fieldgrey colour is still visible beneath the liner. A Heeres decal is visible beneath the camouflage overpaint. The paint shows normal wear and scratches caused by usage, see photos. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The helmet is complete with its original liner, complete with all eight fingers intact. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q64' (hard to read through the thick paint). Q' is indicating production by the 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' in Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped lot-number. The helmet is complete with its original slightly damaged chinstrap as found together. The helmet is in overall very good untouched condition. Great original tan coloured 'Afrikakorps' helmet!
