WH (Heer) M18 Single Decal Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M18). The steel construction M18 helmet was refurbished for usage in the Wehrmacht (Heer). The steel construction helmet retains most of its original matt field-grey overpaint, the paint is showing some scratches and normal traces of usage. A standard 'Heeres' decal has been applied to the helmet, the decals is in very good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage and is present for about 95%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is an original M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact, liner is a size '58', the shell is showing a nice '58' size marking in the dome. The shell is size '66' marked. The helmet is in overall very good untouched condition as found. Stunning original reissued M18 Single Decal Steel Helmet in very good condition!
