WH (Heer) Splittertarn Camouflage Helmet Cover (Tarnbezug). The cover is manufactured of single sided 'Splittertarnmuster' camouflage material, the cover is off-white on the inside. The cover is having a period replaced drawstring in the inner lower hem. There are various foliage loops sewn on the cover. The cover is nicely ink marked '543 / 42' indicating production in 1942.The cover is showing some small damages and staining caused by usage, see photos. The cover was photographed on a size 64 helmet. Nice original camouflage helmet cover in good used condition!
