WH M43 Breeches for Mounted Troops

Description

Wehrmacht (Heer) M43 breeches for mounted troops - Cavalry (Stiefelhose für Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere der berittenen Truppen). The German 'Heer' (Army) utilized a wide variety of long trousers and breeches including the breeches for mounted troops. Mounted personnel in all branches of service utilized the riding breeches (Reithose) which were to be worn with most of the uniform types. Originally the seat and crotch of the riding breeches were out-fitted with leather reinforcement panels. This is a 1943 model 'Rundbundhosen' type cavalry riding breeches with loops for a trouser-belt. Nice late war issue field-grey woolen-construction riding breeches for mounted troops, having leather reinforcement panels, the leather is still supple. The breeches are having a nice blue coloured lining material which is nicely size marked and RB.Nr. 0/0138/0027 marked and dated 'B44' (1944). The breeches are in unissued condition showing minimal traces of storage. Nice and hard to find original pair of breeches in stunning mint condition!
