Dutch 'Buitenmodel' Officer's Overseas Cap (Veldmuts voor Officieren). This is a privately purchased overseas cap made of high quality fieldgrey wool. This is an overseas cap with golden piping which indicates an Officer's rank, the cap is having a metal orange coloured number '8' attached as intended for an officer within the 8th  Regiment Infantry. The cap is complete with leather sweatband, the cap is not visible maker marked or dated. The cap is named to an officer named 'Dominicus'. The overseas cap is showing minor traces of usage and/or moth damage, see photos. Nice original overseas cap in very good condition!
