Beaded M40 Luftschutz type Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). Stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet featuring a pronounced bead along the midline of the shell, the helmet retains almost all of his blue-grey paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage. No decal has been placed on this helmet, these helmets where issued to the Luftschutz and some Police units. All three liner retaining rivets are intact., the helmet is complete with its original leather luftschutz/civil type liner, complete with original liner cord, the liner is size '58' marked. The shell is marked with maker and size 'EF66'. 'EF' is indicating production by the 'Emaillierwerke A.G.' from Fulda. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped lot-number. The helmet is in untouched and uncleaned condition as found showing some dust/dirt and minimal surface rust, see photos. Nice original helmet in good used condition!
