Dutch 'Adjudant der Jagers Kepie'
Dutch 'Kepie' for a adjutant within the Regiment 'Jagers' (Adjudant der Jagers). This kepi was part of the 'buitenmodel' tunic, these tunics were privately purchased tunics in field blue-grey woolen cloth. Soldiers who were not able to buy a complete tunic often bought only the kepi. The regiment 'Jagers' wore recognizable darkgreen coloured tunics and kepis. This kepi is made of the darkgreen coloured wool, the kepi is having double yellow coloured piping and one gold coloured piping. The piping is indicating that this kepi belonged to an adjutant within the Regiment 'Jagers'. The kepi is nicely maker marked by 'Het Blomjous, Militaire Equipementen' from The Hague. The kepi is showing normal traces of usage and some minor damages, see photos. Rare and hard to find original 'Jagers' kepi in good condition!
