Dutch 'Buitenmodel' Artillery Summer Tunic
This is a nice original so-called Dutch 'Buitenmodel' tunic as intended for a Captain within an Artillery Regiment. The tunic is made of the cotton summer cloth. The collar is showing nicely hand-embroiderd crossed Artillery barrels. Nice and hard to find summer cloth tunic in very good condition!

Description
This is a nice original so-called 'Buitenmodel' summer tunic as intended for a Captain within an Artillery Regiment. The 'buitenmodel' tunic is a privately purchased tunic in field green-grey cloth, this is the not so often encountered cotton summer cloth example. The tunic is having three rank stars attached to each collar tip indicating the rank of Captain. The tunic has the Red branch-colour piping indicating Artillery, the collar is showing nicely hand-embroiderd crossed Artillery barrels. The tunic is not visible maker marked or dated. The tunic is showing only minor traces of usage and staining, see photos. Nice and hard to find summer cloth tunic in very good condition!
