Dutch Gala Tunic Grouping
This is a nice original Dutch black coloured Gala (dress) tunic grouping as intended for a 'Kapitein der Artillerie' (Artillery Captain). The grouping is consisting of a pair of pants, tunic, kepi with feathers, gloves, dress shoes and sashes. This grouping is the so-called 'buitenmodel' style tunic, these tunics were privately purchased tunics in field blue-grey woolen cloth, the privately purchased dress tunics were made of black woolen cloth. This is a nice original black coloured Gala (dress) tunic grouping as intended for a 'Kapitein der Artillerie' (Artillery Captain). The tunic or pants are not visible maker marked or named, there are a few small moth damages. The Kepi is complete with original often missing feathers. The kepi is complete with a nice officers quality hand-embroidered cocarde. Nice original gala (dress) tunic grouping in good condition!
