Dutch Gasmask with Carrying Bag

Description

Dutch Gasmask with Carrying Bag (Gasmasker Type G). The set consists of the khaki/green canvas bag with carrying strap, a rubber gasmask with hose and the Gasmask filter (Gasfilterbus). The rubber gasmask and hose are in good supple condition, the gasmask is dated June 1937 and comes with matching dated Filter. Inside the fold-over flap is a white label for the soldiers name and service numbers, there is also a 'B' stamp which indicates 'Bereden Troepen' (mounted personnel). The carrying strap has been period modified, a piece of leather of a Dutch Marines Belt has been used to modify the carrying strap. A leather carrying handle has been sewn on top of the fold-over flap of the carrrying bag. See photos. Nice original Dutch gasmask set in good used condition!
